Great, huge mural along the old rail-line alley in downtown LA’s Arts District that now runs out front of R24 and Eat Drink Americano, two restaurants in a converted brick building near SCI-ARC.
This particular piece evokes, for me, the 30,000-year-old paleolithic drawings on the walls of the Trois Freres cave in France and similar ones in other parts of Europe from that era, considered the earliest man-made art in the world. These look more like wolves than bison, however.
I’m not sure, but I’m guessing the artist is the same person who has done some other gorgeous and colorful pieces involving wolves on neighboring blocks. Knockout work. Anyone know who did it?
